NACR Quality and Outcomes reporting:
NACR has been producing service quality and patient outcome reports for cardiovascular rehabilitation programmes since 2007, helping to improve service provision for all eligible patients. The team (Corinna Petre, Nerina Onion and Dr Alex Harrison) is led by Clinical Lead, Prof Patrick Doherty.
Our work is strongly aligned with the NHS policy team and the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation. Our ability to report meaningful data owes much to clinical teams for diligently entering data and comprehensive oversight from our steering groups.
NACR has two steering groups, one for the audit as a whole and one for the National Certification Programme for CR (NCP_CR). Both meet twice a year to oversee the work of the audit, and input into the relevant annual reports prior to publication. They include clinicians, patient representatives and key stakeholders, as well as members of the NACR team.
