Family Heart Association  Email responder to establish contact

Staying alive longer - smoking, diet, exercise

ASH "Call the QUITLINE free on 0800 00 22 00.  QUIT provides support for smokers who want to give up or cut down. Surveys show that around
10 million smokers in the UK - 69% of smokers - would like to stop smoking. If you are in this category, you are not alone. More than 10 million people in the UK have given up and the majority of those who call the QUITLINE either give up completely or cut down in some way."

Lifesaver  An interactive website to offer you the help you need to stop smoking. Again 'clever clever' graphics meant several minutes waiting for the page to load.

Cessation Programme  from the Canadian Lung Association helps you stop.

Exercise  Health Education Authority site to encourage you to be more active

Coronary Prevention Group  An advice site, exercise, diet, smoking etc.  with an online doctor you can email. Not for the impatient, the extensive use of 'arty' graphics slow it all down and make the first visit confusing.
